fostering collaboration between technical and business teams. My balanced approach to leadership and
program management excels in creating and executing strategies that drive both efficiency and
innovation. I am dedicated to delivering scalable, user-friendly solutions that meet the evolving
needs of today's enterprises.
I am passionate about solving complex, impactful problems on a global scale. Collaborating
with partners worldwide, I navigate cultural and logistical differences to develop inclusive and
effective solutions. This global perspective enriches my approach and ensures that the solutions I
deliver are tailored to diverse needs and environments.
The right information, at the right time, in the right context is the guiding principle that drives my work. I am passionate about connecting people with the right information, when they need it, and in a way that enables them to synthesize and innovate. As we continue to evolve the way we engage with information, new methods and strategies are required to enhance information accessibility. I work to find ways to increase information discoverability, ultimately helping individuals and organizations achieve their goals.
As the Principal Program Manager for Knowledge Management, I led the development of an organization-wide strategy to implement Knowledge and Information Management for Meta's Infrastructure Datacenter (IDC) organization, which encompassed 10K employees and 20+ operational data centers across five departments. I developed knowledge management assessment tools and conducted proof of concept engagements with teams across the organization to test and refine my approach. These efforts culminated in the launch of a Knowledge Management Center of Excellence and multiple Communities of Practice, enabling like roles to engage with each other and allowing my team to refine and disseminate best practices throughout the organization. This initiative provided teams with the fundamental tools and concepts needed to standardize their processes, freeing up time for team members to focus on critical tasks. Following the success of the POC engagements and collaboration with cross-functional leaders, I secured senior management's approval for an organization-wide information repository, consolidating over 100 siloed document and information management systems into a single source of truth.
As the Director of Knowledge Management and Onboarding at Warner Bros. Discovery, I led the revamp and optimization of new hire onboarding processes and information management across the technical organization. I transitioned the organization from fully manager-owned onboarding to manager-supported onboarding, focusing on building micro-learning assets covering fundamental job family information and providing managers with guidance and resources to optimize their onboarding time. This shift allowed managers to concentrate on valuable relationship-building activities and team-specific details, decreasing the time for engineers to submit their first code review by 30%. Additionally, the adoption of micro-learning facilitated the creation of custom flexible playlists, just-in-time learning, and effective governance of existing materials, reducing new content creation time by 50% without sacrificing effectiveness. Each new artifact became immediately available for inclusion in any playlist, enhancing the learning experience. Furthermore, in partnership with Engineering Excellence and the CTO's office, I spearheaded a cross-functional initiative to standardize engineering documentation, version control, and tacit knowledge capture.
As a Senior Program/Product Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), I led the assessment and relaunch of the internal Content Services Platform (CSP/ECM), supporting various business units including AWS Global Events, Professional Services, and Training and Certification. Collaborating with major stakeholders and users, I defined the product requirements, roadmap, and success metrics, securing approval and funding from the Director level for a complete system overhaul. I directed the engineering team through the development and launch of the new system, ensuring continuous operation while building a new environment focused on high availability, machine learning integrations, and API-first principles. These enhancements allowed my team to develop and maintain organization-wide features while enabling individual teams to manage specialized processes. The integration of machine learning models enriched artifacts, reduced author efforts through automatic classification and tagging, and detected duplicates. The relaunched system replaced two legacy systems, increased uptime from 98% to 99.99%, boosted monthly user engagement by 25%, and provided a stable foundation for information management across the organization.
As a Program Manager for Amazon's Machine Learning University (MLU), I led the digital transofrmation of the program. To enable a global audience to engage with our in-person training, I designed and implemented advanced AV systems focused on removing barriers common to remote learning environments. These enhancements included multiple camera views for the instructor to see and engage with remote classes, live digital whiteboards, and recorded lectures for review and study. Within 10 months of launching the AV systems, I scaled MLU from a single site to 15 global locations, increasing student engagement by 32% and maintaining a high CSAT score of 84%+. To facilitate the increase in students and manage a global footprint, I led the design and development of a comprehensive student information system. This system centralized MLU student information, automating enrollment, conference room booking, reporting, instructor outreach, and recruitment tracking, providing a clear view of the program from both detailed and high-level perspectives. Additionally, I collaborated with ML scientists from across Amazon to create and record instructional videos on ML fundamentals, allowing students to learn at their own pace and enabling MLU in-person courses to focus on advanced topics. This content was later adopted by AWS Training and Certification providing external access and reaching over 1 million external users.
As a Senior Digital Asset Librarian at OLV, I assisted in the launch of two bespoke Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems for Microsoft Retail. I built extensible taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and metadata schemas to enable effective asset discovery across systems. I built governance and archival policies to manage the over 80K assets, ensuring designers only discovered usable content and previous work was appropriately maintained and archived. I worked directly with Microsoft Program Managers, Creative Directors, and Designers to build feature requests and product roadmaps. These initiatives fostered a three-year collaboration with Microsoft, significantly enhancing the efficiency and reliability of their digital asset management.
I am naturally curious, which leads me to explore a wide array of topics in my personal time. Whether it's learning new skills, delving into long-held interests, or collecting new hobbies, I find fascinating aspects in almost any subject I encounter. Below are some of the many areas that currently capture my interest.
I've always been interested in how computers talk to eachother and the inherit risks of the modern internet. I manage a small network out of my home to get a better sense of how everything works together
I built and manage a 200TB backup server for friends and family, enjoying the challenge of making data easily accessible. This setup allows me to safeguard their irreplaceable data and share effective methods for data management with my loved ones.
I've set up multiple servers around my house to learn about web hosting and web-hosted applications. Exploring virtualization, containerization, deployments, and security has been incredibly interesting. Currently, I run several self-hosted apps for friends and family focused on image and document management.
Photography has always been an interest and, in a way, led me on the path I'm on. My early work as an event and wedding photographer solidified my appreciation for capturing and archiving important moments, which translates into my passion for information management.
Writing is my newest venture, and I’m excited to dive deeper into it. So far, it's been more about the setup than the actual writing; I've built a comprehensive ontology for my notes to track story arcs, character relationships, events, and items. I've been starting with short stories and am excited to see where this leads.
I read 4-5 books a month, as well as numerous white papers and periodicals. Mostly, I listen to audiobooks due to my active toddler. My interests span various topics, and I’m often deep into a sci-fi or fantasy series broken up with industry white papers and leadership books.
